HeartScape:
Anatomy of the Heart
HeartScape is a dynamic cardiac anatomy and electrophysiology
review. This module includes Flash-based presentations on the mechanical
and electrical structures of the heart. Simulations on cardiac electrophysiology
are included.
HeartScape concludes with a quiz. The quiz contains
multiple choice questions and two panels requiring labeling. Upon
quiz completion, feedback is provided on one's success. A certificate
of completion can also be printed.
HeartScape has been used by health professionals,
secondary and post-secondary school students. Select schools have used
HeartScape in their curriculum. The content
is taken from the two texts, The Six Second ECG and Managing
