Taxes and Customs Duties

Taxes and customs duties for products shipped cross-border are unique to each country. With the exception of Canadian destinations (a 7% goods and services tax is levied at the point of purchase), applicable taxes and customs duties are typically charged to the purchaser upon product entry into the country of question. Taxes or duties is not charged via SkillStat at the point of purchase.

SkillStat's products are all classified educational resources. As such, many countries charge reduced taxes or duties on educational materials.

Shipping Costs

The cost of shipping SkillStat's products within North America is included in each product's list price.

If the cost of shipping products outside of North America is 15% more than expected shipping costs within North America, the purchaser will be contacted by SkillStat Learning Inc. with a request to either send additional funds or to cancel the order. In most instances, shipping costs to countries outside of North America do not incur additional shipping costs.
