COVID-19 UPDATE
ACLS Provider courses will proceed within the new Heart and Stroke Foundation COVID-19 Pandemic framework.
Part 1 – Online Interactive via Zoom (Sat – May 30 – 8:30am-2:30pm)
Part 2 – In-Person: beginning 1st week of June – single day hands-on session – additional course dates for June through September will be posted shortly with a follow-up email
For the session, please ensure you have:
- A Heart and Stroke resuscitation portal account (link here to check your user ID and password work – or to create a free account)
- Zoom software (secure version 5.0 or later – free account via this link)
BLS interim training will also be included in this time frame for those who need it.
Ample time is set aside for breaks and meals.

ADD BLS TO YOUR COURSE!
The Basic Life Support (BLS) course (previously called BLS-HCP) is a prerequisite to be completed within 12 months prior to an ACLS course. SkillStat offers BLS concurrently with every ACLS course as an optional add-on to satisfy this requirement. Choose this option below when registering.
2017/2015 ACLS GUIDELINES UPDATE
In November 2017 (focused release) and in October 2015, the latest updates of the Emergency Cardiovascular Care Guidelines were released. Our courses offer the latest consensus on these guidelines.
PREPARATION
Please review the ACLS Provider Manual (2015) and the ACLS student materials available at Heart and Stroke Foundation (you must log in to access ACLS and BLS skill videos and a precourse quiz – found in the ‘Training Resources’ tab). To refresh your ECG knowledge visit our SkillStat ECG Simulator. Basic ECG interpretation is a prerequisite skill. A number of other useful resources are freely available through SkillStat’s Library.

RENT YOUR MANUALS (instead of buying them)
Does your manual take up space on your shelf between courses? We’d love to put it to good use. You can now rent the manual ($30 vs purchase price of $65) to use while you prepare for your course. Just choose the rental option when purchasing and return it to us in good condition with all inserts at the end of the course and you can reduce your costs and have an environmental impact. Practice emergency cardiovascular care skills for infants, children and adults in one weekend. If not registering in a combo course (e.g., completing both in a single weekend), simply register for both ACLS and PALS courses on your preferred dates and receive your discount within 48 hours.
