Who Qualifies?

This BLS Renewal course uses the BLS Prerequisite Challenge Exam and is for experienced providers who:

• Have an expired Heart & Stroke BLS Provider certification
  – OR –
• Have a current BLS card from another training agency
  – OR –
• Have current Heart & Stroke BLS Provider certification but wish to assess their readiness for the BLS Renewal course.

DESCRIPTION:
Content includes facility based Chain of Survival™

• new COVID-19 resuscitation protocols
• Multi-rescuer resuscitation
• Team dynamics
• The foundational and life-saving skills of chest compressions, ventilations and defibrillation
• Techniques to relieve choking
• The use of a barrier device and bag-valve-mask device.
