The central goal of your PALS Instructor course is to help prepare you to successfully deliver these courses within the standards set by the Heart and Stroke Foundation – HOW ABLE ARE YOU to put what you’ve learned into practice?

1. I’m not at all able to put the concepts into practice. Nope. Nada.

2. I have a general awareness of the key components of the PALS course, the standards of the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the student goal of successful resuscitation in practice but I will need more training / practice / guidance / experience to successfully master course facilitation.

I have mastered the key components of the PALS course, the standards of the Heart and Stroke Foundation and I expect to facilitate a student experience that will likely lead to successful resuscitation in practice. I believe I can contribute new insights and/or practice innovations in this field.
